This is a really durable way to incorporate an African bath net into your shower routine. It’s one side of a thick, plush cotton washcloth. You get the best of both worlds. The washcloth makes it so much easier to use the net, as it has a “backbone”. I’ve been using this for some time and it hasn’t broken down or fallen apart in the wash. Very impressive. I have a collection of exfoliating cloths and this is one of my favorites. I really like that this alpha sponge is a combination of a washcloth and an exfoliator in one. The washcloth side is very soft and feels plush and very nice against the skin while washing. The body scrubber side is definitely more exfoliating than a synthetic loofah. It is a nice durable mesh that has held up nicely in the washing machine. If you have sensitive skin, the exfoliating side may be too intense for you. It does work well, but may not be for all skin types. If you do have calluses or ingrown hairs, this is a great addition for your shower routine. It's nice that it has a loop to hang up. The price is reasonable for a nice cloth/srubber combo. All in all, it is a great product!
Very happy with this bath cloth. I like that it has the cloth part that's able to take the lather and hold it. Then it has the rough side which is great for scrubbing and exfoliating your skin. I use both sides when washing. Using the rough side for the rough areas and the soft side for the sensitive areas. Does a great job of cleaning and holding the soap lather and not rinsing out quickly. Easy to throw in the washing machine and clean. Good bath cloth at a reasonable price
This is absolutely a Premium Exfoliating Body Scrubber & Washcloth by Alpha Sponge. This feels and looks high end- it does not disappoint with performance! As soon as you touch this body washcloth, you can tell it's high quality. On one side, it's a soft, terry cotton that's super soft and gentle feeling. The other side of the Exfoliating Body Scrubber & Washcloth is made of an exfoliating mesh. Both sides feel really nice against my skin. I love the soft side for my face, and the exfoliating side for my body. My skin feels so smooth after I use this! My lotion glides on easier after I use this and I feel smooth, clean, and smell fantastic!
I love the design idea of a dual-sided cloth I can easily toss in the wash. It saves space in the shower since I don't need separate poufs, loofahs, and washcloths. The washcloth side is where it actually shines as a luxury item - it's thick, soft terry cloth. Also worth noting: I ordered the single grey cloth, but the one I received was black. The exfoliating side is a different story. It feels exactly like the harsh netting around a dish scrubber for pots and pans. For me, the texture is way too rough for my back or body, and it's only tolerable on tough spots like my feet, knees, and elbows. I have other webbed netting exfoliators that are much gentler but still get the job done. I'm in my late 40s, so my skin is definitely more sensitive than it used to be. This is a genuinely well-made product, but the scrubbing side is just too abrasive for my daily routine. If you want a really intense scrub, this will do it, but it's just not for me.

This cloth is great at exfoliating my legs prior to shaving and helps with dry Winter skin. It's kind of the perfect combination of a loofah and washcloth. It covers more surface area than disposable loofahs and more effective at exfoliating, so saves me time in the shower. It's a more eco-friendly option than the mesh netting that ends up in the landfill after a couple months. The fabric and netting feel durable and well-constructed, and it's held up well to laundering. I'm also saving money on those items that need frequently replacing like synthetic loofahs and sugar scrubs. It's a great value, particularly considering the costs saved.
I prefer using a washcloth in the shower instead of a loofah because I can put it in the washer every few uses. I actually have a washcloth that is very similar to this but lower quality. But I really like about this is the dual sided texture. The nodded side is great for firm exfoliation, but it didn’t irritate the exfoliate areas of my body. I use the softer side for more sensitive area. But not in netting is sewn properly to the flush back so that it doesn’t punch up when you use it if that makes sense. It’s a very good size and I like the black color. It also has a hanging loop which is key for using in the shower to hang it up to dry afterwards. Overall, I think this is an excellent quality and it is replacing my my old ones ones.
This is a 10x10 inch cotton washcloth. The color is accurate to the photo - solid black. One side is your average cotton terry cloth weave with a small hanging loop at one corner. The other side is an exfoliating weave. It’s a satisfying texture, and definitely does what it’s meant to do. Is it very effective and accurate to its description? Yes. Would I pay the fully listed price for this washcloth? I’m unsure. It’s nice, but not what I would picture as a luxury quality item.
This might be the perfect face towel! I know it can be used anywhere but the size and softness of the cloth side really seem to fit my facial skin care routine. The scrub side is tough but gentle enough to not cause irritation or redness and the other side is so soft I love it. It had a nice feel and definitely feel quality all around would totally recommend picking one up!
This exfoliation cloth (I just call it a sponge cloth) is pretty great. My picture doesn't show much, but it's nice. On one side, you have a smoother and softer feel and the other has the netting that is used to exfoliate your skin. And it feels great in the shower. Really feel like I'm cleaning better and deeper than before. And the softer side is nice for getting the parts that I want to be more gentle on. I also like that unlike other sponges, loofahs, or brushes, that you can just throw this in the washing machine and it'll come out nice and clean and ready to go. Quality seems really good to me. Price fits the quality. I'm satisfied, would recommend.
I’ve found that this has quickly become a regular in my rotation. While I still stick to longer body cleansing tools like my Korean exfoliating shower towel or my traditional African Net Sponge for reaching my back, this cloth is perfect for targeted exfoliation on the rest of my body. The knotted netting side is exactly what I need for those stubborn rough patches. It works wonders on my elbows, knees and the tops of my feet where dullness and congestion tend to show up. It provides a deep satisfying scrub that helps clear away dead skin without feeling like it's damaging the surface. The cotton side is a great contrast...it's thick, plush and holds onto a lot of lather. It's much softer which makes it ideal for areas that don't need such an intense scrub but still benefit from a gentle polish to avoid irritation. It basically traps the soap, or in my case body wash in the center so you can keep the suds going for your whole shower. One thing I've noticed is that because the cotton core is so dense, it doesn't dry fully when hung up. By the next day, it's usually still damp. Since it's machine washable and dryer safe, I just make sure to wash it frequently to keep everything hygienic. This is a high quality cloth that feels like it's going to last much longer than standard mesh poufs. If you have specific areas that need extra attention to stay smooth, it's a great addition to your routine.
These are basically small washcloths with exfoliating netting on one side. One side is soft for regular washing, and the other has texture for light exfoliation. It is a straightforward design but works well. The stitching appears tight and well done, and the cloth feels durable. It dries about as quickly as a normal washcloth would. Nothing fancy, just a standard washcloth with a little extra texture added. If you use both a washcloth and a loofah, this will do the job of both.
I ordered the Luxury Exfoliation Cloths (Grey, Single) By Alpha Sponge. The product came in a plastic baggie with no country of origin information on the package or product. The washcloth is black and not grey. Hopefully the listing will be corrected because a black cloth is very handy for face washing because you dont have to worry as much about makeup stains. I consider the black and not grey to be a positive. I do not like to use washcloths in the shower but I love an exfoliating washcloth for my face in the morning. I am very pleased with this washcloth. The terry has a longer nap which makes it absorbent. The mesh is great for a deep exfoliation. This isnt a cloth I would use every day, it is a bit too rough for that for me. There is a hanging loop that would be helpful if you do like using a washcloth in the shower. I am very pleased with this washcloth.
I've been wanting to get a cleaning net but this is even better. It's a wash cloth with netting sewn into the other side. With this type of cloth, my soap won't slip through, but it will be held on the cloth. The net side is abrasive in the best way which is really helpful for exfoliating. The opposite side is soft and plush. Both sides feel great for different reasons and have different purposes. This is a well made, high quality cloth that provides the best of both worlds of cleansing and exfoliating. I don't have to use a lot of soap using this cloth because it retains the cloth well. This cloth makes it easy to clean out any residue so I can hygenically use it time and time again. What's even better is that I can wash it in the washing machine. At this good value and quality, you could easily have a backups when one is being washed.
I am very happy that I ordered this Alpha Sponge Luxury Exfoliation Cloth. I did order the gray color but recieved a black cloth (I am fine with the black cloth). The cloth has two sides with different textures. One side is very soft and gentle on my skin. The exfoliation side is of course rough but it is not overly aggressive on my skin. The cloth is thick and very well made. There is a loop for hanging up in the shower for drying. This cloth washes well in the washer unlike some other exfoliation sponges. I really like this exfoliation cloth and feel it is a good value for the quality.
