Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you — including data we received through TikTok, Amazon, Meta, Google, or Shopify. We respond within 30 days.
To start, email support@versacare.co with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
1. What we'll delete
- Account information — name, email, address, phone.
- Order history beyond what we're legally required to keep (typically up to 7 years for tax records).
- Marketing preferences and email subscriptions.
- Any TikTok-derived data — TikTok user ID, display name, profile picture, engagement metrics, attribution events.
- Any data we received from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, Amazon, or other connected platforms about you.
- Customer support tickets and chat history.
2. What we may need to keep
Some information is retained after a deletion request to comply with legal obligations (tax records, fraud prevention logs) or resolve outstanding disputes. We'll tell you if any data is being retained and why.
3. How to submit a deletion request
- Email support@versacare.co with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
- Include the email address, name, or order number associated with your data so we can identify your records.
- Specify whether you want all data deleted, or only data from a specific platform (e.g. "TikTok-derived data only").
4. How long it takes
We respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Deletion is typically completed within that window, though some downstream systems (analytics providers, archival backups) may take up to 90 days to fully purge.
5. TikTok-specific deletion
If you'd like us to delete only the data we received from TikTok:
- Email us with the subject "TikTok Data Deletion".
- Include your TikTok handle (e.g. @yourname) so we can identify the records.
- You can also revoke our app's access from your TikTok account settings — that stops further data flow but doesn't delete data already received. The deletion email completes the process.
6. Confirmation
Once your data is deleted, we'll email you a confirmation. If you don't hear from us within 30 days, follow up at support@versacare.co.
